in Sampaloc, Manila

“There are plenty of grand and beautiful churches in Europe, but I strongly believe we can also have them in our country”.These were the words of Fr. Jerome R. Secillano, Parish Priest of the Nuestra Senora Del Perpetuo Socorro (NSPS) Parish in Calamba Street (between Instruccion and Sisa Sts.), Sampaloc, Manila, when he decided to
embark on the reconstruction of the church in 2013.
After years of waiting, the church, which now appears to be at par with those in Europe, will be Dedicated (inaugurated) on October 29, 2022, Saturday, at 5:00 p.m., by His Eminence Jose F. Cardinal Advincula, Jr., D.D., Archbishop of Manila. The solemn activity will be attended by Bishops, priests, government officials, benefactors and parishioners.
“All are welcome to worship in this exquisite house of prayer. When you do, please remember to pray for the benefactors, donors, contractors and ordinary workers who sacrificed tirelessly to complete this project. Without them, there won’t be a new Nstra. Sra. Del Perpetuo Socorro Church”, Fr. Jerome said.
