As a member and supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community, I, too have my own journey in raising my voice for my happiness and myself.” Chezka shared on her Instagram.

Chezka, like many others, was afraid of how her family and friends would react to her identity. So, she joined predominantly female activities like modelling and beauty pageants as she tried to figure out how she wanted to present herself.Later on she realized that she wanted to express herself physically as a woman, “…and that’s why I started growing my long straight hair with Pantene. Medical Depot sets to open branches in malls nationwide; launches own YouTube channel

Medical Depot sets out to reach a new milestone for the company by stepping out of its main store in Bambang, Manila to install branches in other communities nationwide.

Medical Depot President and Chief Executive Officer, Rodolfo Medina Jr., said the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic had become an eye-opener to the company as it realized its importance in the medical sector and the community, as well.

Medina said providing quality and affordable medical supplies and equipment has always been Medical Depot’s mission since its conception, and in this pandemic, the company gears up to make these medical products even more available and easily accessible to the market through the opening of at least 35 stores in malls and commercial establishments.

Medical Depot targets to open 40 outlets nationwide by the end of 2021, and 100 by the end of 2023, he added.

Aside from physical stores to be opened around the country, Medical Depot also sets to make its presence felt in the online platform.

“With our continuous efforts in bringing affordable and high-quality medical supplies and equipment to every Filipino, our team launched different web and mobile applications to provide the most convenient way of online shopping with easy access to our products,” said Melvin Torrefiel, SVP for Digital Operations.

PCPPI bolsters food safety standards, eyes to complete FSSC for all plants

PH’s 1st Stevia grower-manufacturer bullish on financial outlook despite the pandemic

Glorious, popularly known as the country’s first Stevia company, is positive on its outlook despite almost 2-years in the pandemic as more and more people turn to healthier alternatives, sales of stevia products continue to grow. According to agribusiness finance giant Rabobank, Stevia’s sales are expected to hit $700 million worldwide in the next few years. Consumers in the Philippines can now get their calorie-free sugar needs from natural alternatives.

Before, stevia was restricted to the health food market without any FDA approval. Recently, it is now widely used as a natural substitute for artificial sweeteners in many products. “Stevia has been touted as a safe and healthy sugar substitute with proven health benefits.
