ASEAN Gaming Summit postpones to 22-23 September

Asia Gaming Brief, organizers of the ASEAN Gaming Summit 2020, have announced the postponement of its Manila event to 22-23 September 2020.

The event was originally scheduled to run on 19-21 March 2020, but a decision was made in early February to postpone the event to July 28-30, due to the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on global travel and safety.

However, as the global situation has further deteriorated, AGB has made the decision to push the event further into the year.

“We have all had to adjust to a new reality with the rapid global developments created by the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been an unsettling time for everyone, from individuals to businesses to governments, and we at AGB are no exception,” said Rosalind Wade, Managing Director of Asia Gaming Brief.

“Unfortunately, things have got worse rather than better, and with the recent announcement that even the 2020 Tokyo Olympics have been postponed to next year, it now looks as though the July date might still be too early for people to plan.”

“We are therefore taking the decision to move the dates of the event again, this time to 22-23 September,” she said.

The event will also undergo a change in format, removing the exhibition portion of the conference, to be replaced with alternative networking formats and options, whilst the conference program will be reduced to two days from three.

“We do not take these measures lightly but feel that this will give our customers some level of comfort and ability to plan ahead.”

“As a small company, but one with a large reach, many of our customers are personally known to us and, in many instances, friends, so we know how difficult everyone is finding this situation. We would like to take this opportunity to say how much we appreciate the unwavering support that many of you have shown us during this time. It is now that relationships matter more than ever, and we will continue to strive to work together to find workable solutions and alleviate as much stress as possible for us all,” she said.

Tea is one of the oldest drinks in history

Even during ancient times and during the times of emperors, tea is one of the drinks that they consumed and enjoyed. In fact, the history of tea dates back to ancient China, almost 5,000 years ago.

According to legend, in 2732 B.C. Emperor Shen Nung discovered tea when leaves from a wild tree blew into his pot of boiling water. He was immediately interested in the pleasant scent of the resulting brew, and drank some. This is how tea was born.

These days, you will see people toting a cup of tea and drinking it like any other drink but here are 5 things that you need to know when you have a cup of tea because it is not just your everyday, ordinary drink.

Green tea is the healthiest beverage in the world. It is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that have powerful effects on the body, helping it to increase metabolism which aids in weight loss. The other powerful effects include improved brain function, fat loss, a lower risk of cancer and many more.

White Tea is the least processed among black tea and green tea. Due to this, white tea retains a high amount of antioxidants which help reduce the risk of heart disease and combats skin aging. It is also very effective at reducing inflammation from free radicals in human skin cells.

Black Tea, on the other hand, is stronger in flavor and contains more caffeine than other teas, but less caffeine than coffee. It also offers a variety of health benefits because it contains antioxidants and compounds that can help reduce inflammation in the body. It also helps lower blood pressure. Results found that those who drank black tea had a significant decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

Oolong Tea is known to revitalize your mental alertness and performance, naturally, because it contains caffeine. Be careful if you are sensitive to caffeine and limit your consumption to one lightly steeped cup a day, or indulge a few times a week. This is also the strongest amongst the four variants.

Green Tea with Jasmine Flowers is believed to help reduce stress and helps to induce calm before sleep. This makes it the perfect cup of tea to have an hour before going to bed.

All these benefits can be found inside Legánde’s Tea Products. You can purchase Legánde’s Tea variants via www.Legá or visit them at Suite 406, West Tower, Philippine Stock Exchange Center, Ortigas Center, Barangay San Antonio, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines, 1605. Legánde’s Tea comes in 5 variants: green tea, white tea, black tea, oolong tea, and green tea with jasmine flower. You can also check their Facebook Page to send them a message.

Mayor ISKO MORENO threaded an impoverished area in Manila while growing up.  As the elected City Mayor of Manila, more popularly known to Filipinos as Yorme, he never wavered amidst adversities hurled at him for taking several steps in making a better version of the city he fondly calls his home and crowning glory.  Bold and fearless, Yorme puts his heart and mind in anything he does – “Believe in yourself! You’ve got nothing to lose.”

Yorme recently signed Ordinance 8607 declaring the permanence of Arroceros Forest Park dubbed as the “Last lung of the City”, home to 61 tree varieties and 8,000 ornamental plants. The new ordinance forbids the cutting of trees and dumping of waste within the park. Part of his plan is to allocate P1 million solely for its preservation and maintenance away from urbanization and all these efforts stem from his greater plan to make Manila a “Green City”.

Yorme firmly believes in the power of nature. It’s no secret that he advocates on using natural products. No wonder, early this year Yorme became the newest brand ambassador of NOVUHAIR, Nature’s Answer to Hair Loss. Watch the full video at

The benefits of Legánde Inc.’s Argan Oil

When you hear Argan Oil, you immediately think of beauty, creams, serums, and anything that would enhance the physical aspect of a person’s skin. We can’t blame you though. Argan oil has long been associated with beauty products and used to enhance aesthetics and all these claims are true.

Argan oil is actually a plant oil produced from the kernels of the Argan tree that is endemic to Morocco. In Morocco, argan oil is used to dip bread in and eaten for breakfast or to drizzle on couscous or pasta. Thankfully, someone found another way of using argan oil and this time, it’s for our hair, face, and body.

Argan oil as a stretchmark saver. For pregnant women, this can be used to prevent the formation of stretch marks or make it less visible with prolonged use because it moisturizes the skin. Stretch marks form because the skin gets stretched to its limit and when it bounces back after giving birth, elasticity is no longer present, leaving marks that look like a cat dragged something in. With the continued use of argan oil, this can be minimized.

Argan oil can also be used to treat acne because it is a major contributor to skin hydration which is important in acne prevention. If you use it regularly, it will definitely improve the overall look of your skin and help make sure that you don’t get as much acne as you used to.

Lastly, it contains essential nutrients such as OMEGA 6 and VITAMIN E which helps in promoting healthy skin, hair, and eyes as well as powerful antioxidant properties. This means that it supports the repair and maintenance of healthy skin and increases skin elasticity and hydration in postmenstrual women.

All these benefits can be found inside the Legánde Argan Oil because it uses pure Moroccan argan oil. You can purchase Legánde’s Argan Oil via www.Legá or visit them at Suite 406, West Tower, Philippine Stock Exchange Center, Ortigas Center, Barangay San Antonio, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines, 1605. Legánde’s Argan Oil comes in three variants: Hair, Face, and Body. You can also check their Facebook Page to send them a message.

About WORLD WIDE FUND (WWF) Philippines: #ChangeTheEnding Campaign

We are running out of time. Our commitments have not been able to sufficiently stop the environmental and climate crisis. Storms are now stronger than ever before and extinction rates have continued to rise, while human suffering continues to grow with the loss of environmental integrity. Scientists predict that we only have ten years left to reverse the current trend of environmental degradation – and we must act now.

Faced with the enormity of the task ahead, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines is expanding its work in the holistic conservation of our natural resources and the protection of our planet’s biodiversity. From ridge to river to reef, we work with our partners in the co-creation of innovative solutions to the most pressing environmental concerns of today. We use science in the service of life as we continue to strive for a future where man lives in harmony with nature.

Despite having projects addressing biodiversity protection and climate change adaptation, WWF-Philippines will not be able to reverse the current crisis without everyone’s involvement. Our goal to protect the planet, a goal that must be shared by all, will not be realized if we do not all make changes to our lifestyles today. We need governments, businesses, and individuals alike not just to commit, but to act toward a more sustainable tomorrow.

This March, WWF-Philippines will simultaneously be holding Earth Hour 2020 on March 28, as well as launching the #ChangeTheEnding campaign. Over the next five years, we will work closely with our partners in focusing on scaled solutions to address the monumental and very urgent environmental challenges facing the present and next generations of Filipinos. We want everyone to know that while the situation is grim, we can still #ChangeTheEnding if we start acting today. We want all Filipinos to raise their voice for the planet, and to make nature matter.

We now stand at a flashpoint in human history. Our actions today will determine the course of all our futures. This Earth Hour, we invite everyone to join us in living differently today, for the sake of our planet and our shared tomorrow.

INSTEAD of having to unify the Muslim Filipinos, the current Secretary of the NCMF serves to divide the Muslim brethren through rumors, false accusations and tribalism.

Mr. Arasa was evicted from office due to malicious reasons so the Muslim religious leaders took action to support the former Blue Mosque Administrator and ask President Rodrigo Roa Duterte about the issue of the NCMF Secretary.

None other than Dr. Abdurahman Amin, M.D the Chairman of the Council of Elders on Maharlika Village in Taguig City and former Executive Secretary of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), permanent Liason Officer of the MNLF to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Sheikh Abdulrafih H. Sayedy the Grand Imam of the Blue Mosque and Cultural Center (BMCC), Diplomat and former Dean of the Institute of Islamic Studies at the University of the Philippines who wrote a letter of support and attesting the credibility and moral ascendancy of Mr. Jadjurie H. Arasa, the former Administrator of the Blue Mosque and Cultural Center to the office of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the department who has the direct supervision to the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF).

The two Muslim religious leaders wrote Secretary Eduardo M. Ano of the DILG last February 20, 2020 stating reasons why they support Arasa and why they say that instead of the NCMF unifying the Muslims, it served as a dividing factor instead.

According to the letter, Arasa was designated by former NCMF Secretary Mehol Sadain following procedures of proper consultation with the council of elders and representatives of the Jama’a of Maharlika Village.

He served under NCMF secretaries, Mehol Sadain, Yasmin Busran-Lao and Saidamen Pangarungan and the Chairman of the Muslim Consultative Council of Taguig also the Vice Chairman of the PNP Advisory council.

The religious leaders also added that Arasa was doing a good job as administrator and the private sector both here and abroad has his full support.

Likewise the said religious leaders urge the DILG to do something about Sec. Saidamen Pangarungan and Director Jun Dato Ramos for enticing division among the Muslim brethren through fabricated allegations among the Tausug youngsters saying that they are selling illegal drugs inside the Blue Mosque.

They said it was eight months from the date of turn over from Mr. Arasa to the Newly Appointed Administrator Mr. Bacarat from Marawi City.

During Arasa’s stint as Administrator, all Muslim tribes has been represented at the Blue Mosque, no minor or major tribe unlike the entirety of the NCMF under the leadership of Sec. Saidamen Pangarungan where the Maranao and his relatives hold key positions in the commission as quietly attested by his commissioners who has the same grievances and more.

One of the main benafactor of the Blue Mosque is none other than Sulu Governor Abdusakur M. Tan. He also helped in the Haj expenses as his Sadaka and other charities involving Islam, another is the Sali Nudjang foundation.

The Religious Leaders re-iterate that it is not a “tribal” clash instead a clash between “right and wrong” bringing attention to the public about Pangarungan’s character assassination on Arasa to get the foreign contacts to side with them for them to get hold of the Jakat for the rehabilitation and renovation of the Blue Mosque and Cultural Center, capitalizing on Arasa’s moral ascendancy with the foreign Muslim brethren. and Malik Bin Ismail, 09333816694,
